My Journey to Hubpages and Google Adsense

Like every journey that needs time and preparation, signing up for hubpages and Google Adsense also needs lots of time and preparation if one is to write quality hubs. There are several problems one encounter while trying to signup for hubpages and Google Adsense. It is easier to signup for hubpages but needs lots of energy to be accepted for Adsense.

Here I will narrate on, how I encounter the problems ands how I could solve the problems that I encounter while signing up for Google Adsense. When I first began to write online, I came across three sites namely, hubpages, squidoo and blogspot. I prefer the hubpages because it was easy to understand and with fewer procedures.

I wrote my first hub few months ago. But even after one month since I first wrote my first hub, I couldn’t sign up for Google Adsense forget about the Ads money. I received two mails from Google Adsense saying that my address was incorrect. The problem being my name, Google Adsense wants payee full name and valid name. But I have only one name. So, in that case my name became an invalid name. I couldn’t add a second name out of no where besides that would make my address faulty and payment made to that name will be invalid. I tried giving my spouse name and her address; again, it got rejected because my spouse doesn’t have street address. Unlike in west, the places where I stay don’t have a proper street address although we have postal address. I then gave payee name as my spouse name and my address since my spouse has two name and I have postal address. After that I stopped getting any mails from Google Adsense. Each time I checked or sign in, it gives this message. “An Adsense account does not exist for this login, as your application is currently in review.”

After several failed attempts to sign up for Google Adsense, I then switched over my email address to another and began to sign up for new Google Adsense. There again the other pages loads up quickly as usual but it took ages for Google Adsense page to show up. It made me lose my patience. I stopped using Adsense for sometime. After a week or so, I then sign up a complete new account on Gmail particularly meant for Google Adsense. I tried again. There again it says, I had to wait for another two days to get confirmation from Adsense. After waiting for now just two days but weeks, still there was no answer. I then frantically searched the whole net for help and finally land up in Google Adsense help Forum. I viewed various posts and answers. There were many similar cases and everyone seems to be in the same predicament as me. After that I posted my post on the forum;Why "Google Employee" not responding to our queries? Still there was no answer. I finally considered giving up.

But, I did not give up and my determination and my will to stay on press me to try again. I tried almost every day. I added more hubs to my pages and made links to other sites likesquidoo and blogspot. After waiting for other two or three weeks, I received an email from Google saying that I have been accepted. It finally paid for my patience.

The lesson I learn is that, to get accepted for Google Adsense, firstly one need to provide accurate address such as street address and correct payee name. Secondly, one also needs to have good contents of your hubpages. Thirdly, tons of patience to be accepted since it takes lots of time to review your application by Google Adsense teams.

Since I have been accepted after months of trying, I hope to write more hubs now.
